ok...guess what happened!!! I went downstairs to make a sandwich and when the toast came out of the toaster I saw a likeness of Indydeb on it....omg....I can't believe it. I guess it will go to ebay or I will put it in my shrine to her...

O MA GAWD I had a simmmalur experience CakeRN!!!! I was making a big ole honkin vat of BC tonight and when I lifted the beater her name was right there I N D Y D E B I 
(oh course if her picture were there I wouldn't know if it were her or not LOL)
I called my Priest and he said he had heard of her.....maybe might need a blessing on my good ole KA!!!
Omygoodies!!! Congrats on getting back together (are you taking notes on what kind of cake you are going to have Deb make?
indydebi...so where exactly is your shop. we're going to Oklahoma in November, and it looks like Indy is right on the way.

lol Christi I'm making the cake myself but have asked Debi many MANY questions about the food portion of the reception... She's helped me plan everything out for the food and has given me so much help! I just wish I could repay her in some way.
Ok * writing instructions down* anybody wanna catch a ride with me LOL I'll swing over to the west coast then make a big loop over to the east coast then we will head to Indianapolis! LOL

Being in the ohio valley we might still be able to do it!
But if youre running a van pool to indi Im a going too!
Poor DH and 14 year old can deal with the almost 2 yEAr old and the newly 3 year old for awhile........

Speaking for my area we dont have hardly anything to go to and or see and experience as far as cake decorating stuff goes.
So our only caking fix is on line and doing it!
To be able to meet our own MRS. indydebi would be Heavenly!!!!
I as a mother of 3 and wife dont have much in the ways of funds to travel and to afford alot of classes. So to get the chance to pick the brain of one of my cakespirationists <my word for the awesome cakers here> and to just shoot the breeze with this woman who seems so full of life and such a pistol would just be awesome in my book! 
PAULA COMING TO LOUISVILLE??? AND DEB???? OMG Tuesday we HAVE to get a little riot on the streets of Louisville going on for the incoming celebrities!!!! LOL
I don't have a life...IM a slave to this family 3 kids that fight constantly a DH that is gone 16 hours a day and NO life at all but caking and CC!!! I really am a sad sad little speck of life on this planet lol.
Tuesday....Let's just let the hubbies care for the kids...kidnap...I mean pick up Debbi and go for a little Thelma and louise rant across the country

Ok...where in Louisville is Paula going to be. We ate at her restaurant in Savannah last fall. It was wonderful.
Louisville is only 1 hour and 40 min from Indy so you gals can hop on up here. I know cause I made that drive for years to work at Methodist hospital while putting my dd through nursing school. It is a nice drive too..
Actually once the Cheesecake Factory is built at the Greewood Park Mall on the southside of Indy we could all meet there for lunch....
What do you say INDY DEB!!
Oh and next fall ( hopefully) 2008 our IN ICES chapter is going to sponser a weekend of sharing with some big names....so start saving your money up now....join ices if you can too. Louisville has a great chapter....
the weekend will probably run less than 200 for the weekend and they will most likely be hands on classes.
oh and Deb will probably be helping out too!

CakeRN is right about the INdy ICES meeting that is being planned. I've already volunteered with the person organizing it to help her because she is really pulling some big names in for this. If you are within any kind of close proximity at all, it will be WELL worth the time!
