I thought the first one looked incredible, and the second one, yes, I can see that it improved with moving the eye. But I hope you don't charge less than you originally agreed on. That cake is worth every penny you were going to charge!!!!!!!!!!!

I may not know much about decorating cakes but I do know about horses and what they look like and I think with the changes you made, this is one beautiful cake. Moving the eye did the trick! You should be VERY proud of yourself!!!

You did a great job. The eye move was the perfect fix. It isn't that the horses head is too big, it's because his head is turned and you see so much neck this way. By putting in the head and jaw line you can distiguish the two. I'm sure your customer will love it!

I think it looked good before and it looks great now! You gotta be a little easier on yourself. There is only so much one can do with cake, icing, rice krispie treats fondant etc. etc. It's not like you're working with pottery or clay or something that you can just touch it and mold it into something Go easier on yourself! I'm sure the little girl and her friends are going to love it and I'm sure her mom is going to be more then happy and willing to pay the ORIGINAL quoted price.

Who wouldn't just love this site.You guys just gave me my confidence back.I think I'm going to continue caking.Yesterday was just a very long day I guess.But yeah,even though this cake gave me such an terrible time.I'm pretty happy with the outcome of it.But ofcourse it would of happend without CC.So I can't take all of the credit for myself.

OMG it came out just perfect! I am so glad you stuck with it rather than giving up on the little guy. He was almost there but he just needed a little tweak and you did it. Excellent cake - I'm with the other posters, he's worth every penny.

Well, my fellow CCr's.
I just had it delivered.And the little girl's reaction was:OMG,mom it's a horse!!!!
Then she starts jumping all over the place from the excitment.Then her mom proceeds to call all of the family outside to see the horse.Everybody was just like hipnotized.
Boy, watta good feeling.The minute I saw little girls reaction,I didn't really care what everybody else's reaction would be.I made happy the person that counts.
I can't thank you enough guys for this accomplishment.If I didn't do this improvment,I don't think I would be able to bring myself to deliver it the way it was.
