am making a 4 stack wedding cake and am not sure witch pans I should use its for 250 people and she only wants a 4 tier cake?

here is a link to a serving chart. It will tell you the size of the pan and the servings by round or square pans. Hopefully that will help!! 
Looks like it may be hard to get without a really large bottom tier if you are going 4 in difference. Maybe some sattelite cakes or a sheet cake to add not displayed might help too.
