I was just wondering about high altitude changes.....Susanscakebabies, did you need to make any changes to the mix? I would LOVE to find a master mix that works up here in the high country. Thanks

susanscakebabies: When you mixed a batch of the homemade mix, what size pan(s) were you able to bake it in?

I am here on the plains of CO. I don't need to adjust for alt. Sorry I can't help you out there. As far as how much cake. I made on 1/4 sheet and 1 8" double and still have about half the mix left. SO it goes a long way, hope that gives you some indication.

I was having trouble getting this message! lol..but thank you so much for posting this!!!

I have so caught up at work that I haven't had the time to go out and buy a food container large enough to store the mix.

It's on my to do list!

Was so tired I couldn't even go out to my birthday celebration tonight.. icon_redface.gif but I can't complain..loving every minute!

but as soon as I get the container, I'm in like Flynn!

I just have to say RisqueBusiness for this recipe. I love love love it. I makes a great batch so I can store it and not have to make one every single cake. I get rave reviews no matter what Adjustments I make to the flavor. I stuck with my chocolate b.c it is so mmmmmmm. But I use this for most everything else. You need to market it. You will make a fortune. Thanks again. I really hate boxed mix so this is a god send. I really can't thank you enough!!!!

I've been trying to package it...but with hardly any time, it's hard...

and I do have a little "hotel shop" right upstairs..

If I come up with some catchy Miami or Florida name..maybe like..

Gator Cake mix..or something like that..lol
