The grocery store that I shop is having a good sale on sour cream. You can get 10 of the 16 oz. for $10.00.

I just wanted to know if anyone ever tried freezing because I use sour cream in all my cakes and would love to stock-up if I could freeze it.

Thanks in advance icon_wink.gif

I wouldn't freeze it as it will seperate when thawed. Store it upside down in the fridge and it will last for a long time. No air will get into the package this way and will help to preserve it and prevent the mold that usually happens after a period of time. You can and should do this even after the container has been opened. That is a great deal, so if it were me, I'd stock up....just need that refrigerator room. Good luck!
