I'm so happy!! I took first runner up at my very first cake show!!! I had so many problems these last 3 weeks on trying to get anything done! I was having some health problems that were keeping me down and too weak to do anything at all. I did manage to at least finish the wedding cake entry. It had a lot of flaws on it and some things I would do differently now after doing this cake. I didn't expect to place at all because I did this cake in two days, almost non stop and I was crazy tired! The grand prize winner was Amy, my cake instructor when I took classes! it was so cool that it came down to her and I! I'm going to make a slideshow of the whole thing but it may take me a few days to do it. It was a great experience and now I can't wait for next year! And next year I will wear better shoes! I was at the fair for 13 hours! Let me know what you think especially those that have been in cake shows before! TFL!!!
