I have been researching the best place to buy business cards online, and I have found it! I have ordered from vista print and their cards are marginal I have also ordered from others and I end up getting cards that if I tried I could print them better on my laser printer. I ordered them from printsmadeeasy.com and they where great for the money. Very thick paper and glossy, looks very professional! I just wanted to let you all know. This is a shameless plug for them but their business cards are worth the money! By the way, I got 100 for 15.49 that includes shipping!

We have always used Vista Print. Right now they have sent a special to customers for 250 premium cards for $3.99. If anyone wants the special that doesn't have it just PM me your email address and i will email it to you.

They do have the free business cards as well but the premium ones are better quality and more designs to choose from.

I have ordered the premium ones from vista print but they are very thin I thought but these are thicker and won't bend as easy in your wallet.

I also use vistaprint. I just got 100 postcards made that have a quick survey on the back and are already self addressed that i give out when i do a cake. all they have to do is grade the questions and pop it in the mail. its working. VP has monthly offers too, sometimes too good to resist.

What do you guys put on your cards? My partner and I made generic business cards but we want to spruce them up and make them more customized. What do you call yourself? Owner? Head Baker? Chef?

Sweetcakes, that's a great idea - including self-addressed surveys with your cake...what questions do you ask?

Here is the link for the premium ones for $3.99 plus shipping.

They are thicker and much nicer than the free ones. But hey you can't go wrong with free either!

I print my own icon_redface.gif business cards. Most of my work is for weddings, so when I go to set up, I take along my digital camera and take lots of pics. Then I go home, select the best one, and use it on my business cards. When I go back to cut the cake, I leave 10-15 of my newly-printed business cards on the cake table with the remaining wrapped pieces of cake. It's really been great for business and relatively inexpensive. If I don't think I need to leave that many cards, I still keep the extras in my van so whenever someone asks me for my card or my phone number, I have some.

Another nice thing about this method is that if someone from the wedding takes one of my cards, they already have a pic of the cake they tasted, so I know what I'm dealing with and they remember that particular cake. Also, when I box and wrap the top tier, I put a copy of that business card and instructions for how to freeze/thaw for the Bride & Groom. They appreciate it and remember what their cake looked like. I've gotten a lot of great comments on these cards.

I list myself as: "Your 'I Do' Cake Specialist". icon_biggrin.gif
