Question About Modeling

I'm thinking of trying some modeling.........which would be better, gumpaste/fondant or fondant/gum-tex? also i need to dry the pieces quickly, can i use my hair dryer on the COLD setting?

Gumpaste alone dries faster and harder than the fondant/gum-tex mix. So, if fast is what you're looking for, go with the gumpaste!!

Otherwise, for modeling I prefer fondant/gumpaste mix because it gives you more time to work with it before it starts to dry and crack.

dry it in the oven with the light on, but no heat. that has really worked for me well. place it on styrofoam if possible so that the air can circulate under the peice as well.
