I have several requests for 'monogram' cookies for different events in the very near and distant future. If you will look at the cookies on the website www.casuesweets.com and click the What's New tab and then click on the last icon there you will see their alphabet cookies and it looks like the ravie font style to me.
Or do you know of any other styles of alphabet cookie cutters besides the basic block style I would love to know where I could purchase them.
Thanks for your time
Suze
I've never seen them ... chances are they are custom made. If you do find out please let us know as they are super cute!
What a great site! Thanks for sharing it! I'm guessing that they had the cutters made to order. I think the blue jean cookies are fabulous! How do you think they got the blue color to look "shaded?" Do you think they are airbrushing the cookies?
I have a few like that but my hubby made them for me. I love them cause they are so different.
What a great site.
I wonder if they'd tell you if you emailed them and asked them. They probably are custom, but I would love to have them. So make sure you post here if you hear back from them, lol!

Lucky you that your hubby can make these
Suzycakes,
Maybe you could make your own templates for Curly-Q letters? I'll see if I can find some templates to print off online today. If I find some, I'll post the link because I want to make some for myself too.

Thanks for your help -- I have printed off the template - I'm 99.9% sure it is the Ravie font - I just really need help figuring out how to make one.
My DH tried to cut one out of wood last night using his band saw for pattern and the wood broke where the bottom leg of the K connects at the center - which is what we were expecting to happen. So tonight he is going to try to drive nails into the pattern drawn on wood and see if he can shape the strip of metal around the nails.
But we would really appreciate any help at all in learning how to make cookie cutters.
Thanks again
Suze
I've never made the metal cutters. I use cardstock paper for my template and if I like it I'll laminate it.
Keep us posted on what you come up with and I'll check out the Ravie font
Mchelle - I just kept changing the font on my Word program until I figured it out.
Shanzah - so you actually hand cut your cookies using the card stock template as a guide? That sounds so time consuming. Tell me it isn't so!!

Only if I can't find a certain cutter...I use the little craft knife from hobby lobby to cut out the dough from around my template. I don't do it often
I think the lower case letters are the ravie font, but the uppercase letter I think is steiner font. Here's a link in case you don't have that one http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/canadatype/steiner-special/regular/charmap.html

You're right Mchelle -- I had not figured that font out -- and probably would never have done so. Thanks for the link and information.
