Thanks to all you guys for ideas and a special thanks to Melvira!! This cake was for my Dad's b-day this weeke end and was a HIT!!! And I was able to purchase him a real shirt that looked just like the cake.
Cake was coconut with coconut filling and coconut BC covered in MMF.
Ok, tried to add an attachment, but the file is too big...look in my pics. Thankds!!!
Love the shirt! Added it to my favs because I want to do one for my dad in November. How do you do the collar?

Used a shirt collar as a pattern and cut it out of parchment first. I made the points a little longer because my pattern shirt was a regular shirt and western collars are longer. Cut MMF and folded over on a narrow piece of cardboard to dry. You could probably for go the cardboard if you are making and applying to the cake same day. HTH.
I think it looks awesome. I love that you used your name as the tag on the shirt. Thats very cool.
WOW!!!! Looks just like a shirt! I'm sure your Dad was was loving this cake!! and to get a real shirt to match? Wow!!!! You really did a fantastic job!!!!!
Oh my gosh, this is awesome!! You and Melvira are the shirt queens! Your dad will love it IF you can give it up! I applaud you!
Excellent job! That would be a great idea for a western theme here in Calgary, for Calgary stampede!
Awesome! Wish I could do something like this for My grandpa-in-law's 80th birthday. He would love it.
Thanks for all the wonderful compliments on the cake. It was one of the easiest 3-D that I have done so far...and I haven't done too many...YET!!! You guys are great!!!
