Ok so yeah we aren't allowed to advertise in public like at the grocery store, news paper, etc. So I have never had to do anything like this before.
There is a thing at my daughter's school called the Business Connection Guide. It's a small booklet/pamphlet that gets sent home once a year with all the small businesses in the area, who wish to participate, and all the class adoptive parents (they ask for a local business to adopt a classroom for a $100.00 donation to help the teacher of that class with needed supplies that she would normally pay out of her own pocket for)... Now this woman approached me this year because of some work I did last year. I made 2 cakes for the PTO's Daddy Daughter Dance, and she was very interested in "signing" me so to speak to do some or all of the PTO's food needed things this year. She also asked me to send her either a business card or an "ad" to be placed in this booklet. I really want to do this as it would get me ALOT of business! This booklet is sent home to EVERY student in the school!!! So that's alot of parents that may call for birthday cakes for their children!!! lol. So I really want to do this.
Now my problem is... my business cards aren't very "appealing.." I don't think.. it's my company "logo" which is also my avatar here, my name, phone number, website link, and a small portion that states what we offer and which local areas we serve. I'd much rather send her an "ad" to put in there then just my business card because honestly unless it jumps out at me for any reason, I bipass all the business cards in the booklet lol.... so I'm sure others do too lol.
Is there anyone who can help me design an ad for this??? I'm not expecting anyone to come in that does this professionally and offer up free services, but what I'm looking for is someone to give me ideas on what I could do.... I want it to jump out atcha! and still be attractive and informative.
I emailed her back last night about this and she viewed my website and everything and said how much she enjoyed it and that she did take a look at the adult section (I warned her ahead of time lol) and said that although it isn't THAT bad... to either remove it from direct access or do something differently with it so I put up a page divider so that they click once they get the big large red warning page telling them what they are about to do and telling them if they are under 18 or do not wish to view such pictures to please click the back button and choose a different folder to view. If they do wish to continue the button is below that to enter that folder... I don't know how to put the age block on there like other websites have where you actually have to input your birthday date to gain access and if not old enough it won't allow you to enter.... not sure how to do all that just yet lol (any one that can help --- please do! lol)
Anyway I just need help working this ad out so anyone that can help please do!!!

so I went ahead and threw something together with my logo and a little bit about the company along with my contact info. Hopefully she'll find it suitable and not too much or not too little lol.
I am also looking for someone to help me out for some cyber hugs! lol. I need a new logo lmao. But not sure what exactly I want yet lol. If anyone's willing to help out with that for cyber hugs I'd be very greatful! lol
Someone I'm nolonger friends with made my current logo (met online in pool lol don't talk to anymore) so I can't even get them to edit it or anything lol. I was hoping for something more cartoonish.. not real pics like he used but I dunno...
