When you make cookie balls (oreos and cream cheese) - I'm assuming these need to stay refrigerated??? Any idea how long these can safely sit out and not go bad?? I like to decorate them and give as gifts or bring to parties and am always worried about someone getting sick!!
Thanks!

My daughter makes these all the time. I asked her and she says that she refrigerates them until she is ready to make deliveries. She sells them (and puts them on dispossable plastic containers) and when she goes out on her runs she puts them in a small cooler with ice bags around the boxes.
I hope this can answer your ?????'s

Oh my gosh these are sooooooo good and so darn easy to make. I have been doing these for years and have never heard anything but good things about them.
1 pkg of dbl stuff oreos
1pkg of crm cheese
mash it all together and make little balls, stick in the freezer ofr at least an hour then dip in melted choc...I use white choc but really any kind will do.

I would keep them chilled for as long as possible but that being said I have brought them to parties where they sat on a buffett table for hours and had no issues, but admitally they were still cold when I tried them. I am not sure if that helps at all
