I deliver my first paid cake tomorrow. My customer said she would be glad to hand out business cards for me.

I am unable to decide on a name.

Water Cooler Cakes - obviously nobody liked it - my husband thought it was my best idea yet (out of the ordinary)

How about

A Cake to Remember

If no one likes this one I'll just put Cakes by Jodi on a card with my phone number. I can always change it later as I am just getting started.

I like Cakes to Remember too.

However, doesn't one need to get a DOB license if you use any name for your business other then one that has your name in it? Here in CA you do.

I would have to go with A Cake to Remember, too . . . though I think Water Cooler Cakes is very creative and memorable.

What about:

Lasting Impressions
Cakes by Jodi

Excuse my ignorance but, what is a DOB license?

Or maybe just:

Lasting Impression (without the "s" at the end)

or

Impressions
Cakes by Jodi

But all in all, I think A Cake to Remember is classy, memorable, and says all you really want it to say. Good luck!

Maybe they meant DBA , doing business/operating under a registered fictitious name.

I have to say I like your name Delaware, hmmmmmmmmm wonder
why icon_lol.gif I think the best name would be " I Do" Cakes. then your ad
could read getting married remember I do wedding cakes, having a
birthday remember I do birthday cakes, or when you get real big and
need a Tv ad you could have a bunch of people setting around in a office and one person asks does anybody know where i can get a good cake
and they all raise thier hand and say "I DO" icon_eek.gificon_eek.gif
