I did this cake for a 50th anniversary. At first I was very confident, then as the date came closer I started to DREAM (may I say more)...

The cake was a simple design because she wanted to have tons of baby's breath and lilies. Well, come to find out, she didn't order the flowers..opps..forgot! So the day after Mothers day here in Costa Rica (15th of August) I went looking for flowers..HA Good luck! Thankfully I found them but now I was the florist too. Flowers don't look that good and I know it but please give me your feed back as this was my 1st pillar tiered cake.

I wanted to thank JanH for advise that she gave me..

Please critque because I wanna get better.

The cake is carrot with Earlenes Cream Cheese Frosting

Thanks,

jessica

Wow. The way you talked I was expecting an ugly cake. That's wonderful. I strive to be as good as you.

It's gorgeous, especially for a first attempt. The icing is smooth and the cakes are perfectly straight. thumbs_up.gif
