I was eating some granola/candy bars that Target was giving out as a free sample the other day and one of the flavors was Cherry Pistachio Dark Chocolate. DELISH!

I was thinking about combining chopped dried cherries, nuts and melted dark chocolate and putting it in the little candy cups that you can buy. it would dress up a cookie platter and taste great! what do you experts think, would it work out ok? what kind of chocolate should i use?

Sounds yummy.

I am a devoted fan of Ghiradelli chocolate. It is made here in the USA, and the company has been around for many years. They offer both the melting bars and chocolate chips in better supermarkets.

No matter which chocolate you use, make sure you know about chocolate tempering before you proceed. Otherwise you will get bloom on your pieces, you know, that white fuzzy stuff that you see on stale chocolate?
