Hello. Does anyone know any reference or design books on panoramic eggs that are made from sugar. I already have the book Fancy Eggs by Mary Verghese. It seems that there are not many books devoted to this sugar art. I know it is way off season. These panoramic eggs are seen mostly around Easter time. Thank you very much. -Michelle

I know what you mean when you say it's hard to find idea books for sugar casting. Most of it is English or Austrailian. For some reason, it just isn't very popular in the States. icon_confused.gif

Ok, I LOVE http://www.sugarcraft.com/ that's where I got my first panoramic egg book, "Panorama Pageantry" it's mostly just pattern ideas, kind of like the pattern books my mom had when she did tole painting. I think you may find it interesting because it also has ideas for other seasons, like Christmas ornaments! Also, this site has plenty of molds and decorations for sugar eggs/ornaments.

Colette Peters did "Colette's Christmas" back in 1993, but it's out of print now, so the price is pretty high if you can find it, but it has ideas for Christmas ornaments made of sugar. Very pretty. thumbs_up.gif

When you get to the point of looking for molds, go to Ebay, they have TONS of stuff and it's all pretty reasonable, unless you live near a good cake/candy supply store, that way you save on shipping.

Good Luck & have a Great day fellow Sugar Artist!
