I want to make a white chocolate cake. Would I just add melted white chocolate chips? If so, how much would I need to add? I'll be using the brides cake recipe from the Cake Mix doctor book. Any advice would be great.

I've never heard of that before. Aren't there white chocolate cake mixes? Or maybe make one that you add pudding to and add white chocolate pudding?

I never thought of adding white chocolate pudding. Are you talking about the instant white chocolate pudding?

Yes exactly. Some of the CMD cakes say to add pudding mix, instead of buying the kind with the pudding already in it. Do you have time to make up a test cake to see how it tastes?

Yes I do have time to test it. The cake isn't due until July 28th.

I will run to the store today to get some white chocolate pudding. Thanks for your help!

I came across a post here on CC a while ago about a fabulous white chocolate cake that uses instant white chocolate pudding.
Here's the recipe:
1 white cake mix
3 egg whites
1 whole egg
1 box white chocolate pudding (small box)~I use instant pudding~
1/2 cup oil
1 1/4 cups water

I bake at 325 and take it out when it begins to barely spring back. Man, this cake is AWESOME! I have gotten such great compliments from it.
