I have decided to start selling my cakes (finally! my SIL has been after me for years to do it) and I need a name. Personally, I like cutesie names. One of my favorites is Citizen Cake in NYC. I would really like to incorporate something to make it personal.

A little about me- I'm a tennis junkie. I take lessons twice a week and just can't get enough of it. I'm a runner and love to run competitively. Also, I collect Hello Kitty everything (even though I'm nearly 30!) I've been lucky enough to live in UT for the last 10 years but I will probably be living in S. Carolina when this business gets off it's feet. Also, I was born and raised in West Virginia (a real hillbilly!) and my siblings have always called me Ishi. I'm really laid back and, it goes without saying, I'm passionate about cakes.

Any ideas?!

I think you could play off any of those. When I chose the name for my business I just used my nickname Jo and added custom cakes to it to diffrientient(sp) my cakes from the standard cakes. That way if they want something out of the norm they come to me.

KishiKakes? Ki for Kitty - Ishi for your name? Kakes with a K?

I used my nickname and cakes. My students helped me name mine. Ask some teenagers - they will really put some effort into it!
