Hello everybody!
I'm new in here and I need som quick help, please!
I got an last minute order since the bakery that was supposed to do this cake has backed out (can they do that?)
Anyway, the bride wants a green cake or white with green decorations on it, the key word is lime as she wants lime mousse for filling.
Where can I find some good ideas or pictures of green cakes??
Emergency!! The wedding is in three days!

I would make the cake white and decorate in green.......I think it would be very pretty......simple elegance. Look in the recipe section for lime mousse. I think a green cake would be a turn off to some people eating it. Good luck........relax. I wouldn't try to "go big" just make it very simple.

This is the cake I did for my own wedding. The colors could be changed to suit the bride's tastes. icon_biggrin.gif

Now I'm done baking the cakes.. and going to whip up the fillings.. it will be lime mousse in one layer and fresh straw berries and strawberry mousse in the other.
I've got some ideas for the decorating as well, thanks to you! icon_smile.gif

I've just recently done a wedding cake that had green ribbon around it... very simple in design covered with MMF .. was incredibly easy to do .. I'm still grumbling about that cake topper on it lol.. it's in my photos if you'd like to look at that one icon_smile.gif
