Hi guys I'm really hoping someone out there can help me out. My sister lives in Toronto, and wants to bake a cake for her best friends birthday this week. She wants to put an edible image on the cake, but doesn't have the special printer or anything. Is there somewhere that she could just go to buy an edible image to put on the cake herself? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!
Amanda
Sometimes you can find them at a local grocerie store, not walmart though cuz they won't sell any supplies there. Just call around and ask. Some bakeries also will sell them to you. I usually get them for $6.00 a sheet. Just don't forget to take the pic with you of what you want.
Both of my local grocery stores have edible images that they sell. I just asked this past week. One sells them for $10 and one for $7 and any size you want. The one said that I could get it up to five or six days before I need to lay it on the cake as long as it stays in the bag it won't dry out.

alot of cake decorating suppliers have edible images that you can buy also they might know of someone who has the printer that you can send a picture to and they will print it off for you at a cost of course!

I'vebought thingsfrommy localwalmart. I've bought a few images for $5.00 each. I've bought cake topper for $5.00 each and they have also "gave" me cake boxes when I couldn't find the right height at michaels. They won't give you the cake board though. I'd check your local walmart anyway. Before walmart I use to go to price chopper but my images always cracked (walmart's were fresher)
