Need anniversary cake ideas

Hi everyone, it's me again lol.

I need help with a very special anniversary cake for my sister's 35th wedding anniversary.

Here is a little background info on the couple. They were high school and college sweethearts. I would like to tie all this together with a very special cake for them.

Any ideas, pictures and suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Their anniversary is July 25.

PLEASE help me make this special for them!!!!!!

If they had a cute wedding cake 35 years ago, you could take the theme/design, and just update it. Cover it in fondant, and incorporate any flowers (in gumpaste perhaps) and colors they had. Or you could take the design of her wedding dress and incorporate it into the cake.

Is there anything in particular they both like to do together? I mean like boating, skiing, bike riding??? Something maybe they do together a lot and maybe you could use that theme for the cake... just an idea icon_smile.gif

They have a beautiful home and they work out in the yard every weekend together.

I'd do something with some beautiful flowers/greenery in it APcakes suggested.. if you wanted to do something whimsical, you could do the BIL asleep in a hammock and your sister gardening icon_biggrin.gif
