Does anyone know if the Wilton Brush-On Icing can be used on cookie bouquets?
I am making turkey shaped cookies for Thanksgiving, and would like to color them in red, green, yellow and orange. I'm thinking of making Antonia's icing or Toba Garrett's icing, and then drawing "feathers" on the turkeys. I want the cookies to be stackable. Does the Brush-On dry hard enough for stacking?
Maybe the Icing Writers would be better? I'm a bit confused...
Any help would be great, as I've never done this before!
"Brush-On" icing. Is this a new product?? I've never heard of it. Last year I used the icing that comes in the big tubes and did my colorful turkey feathers with that. Much easier than making all those colors. I used the Deco-cake brand, or something like that. They were 10 for 10 at my Alberton's at the time so I sort of stocked up.
The brush on writers are about two + years old. They are great for fondant covered cakes. I think they would work for the cookies. But I would use Toba's icing it does dry well enough to stack.
