Cakesonly, the gumpaste needs to be thin enough to read through icon_biggrin.gif

Sisita, I used CK gumpaste mix. It was only $2 or so. I just followed the instructions and just added 2 TBSP of Tylose. Then I when I'm about ready to use the gumpaste, I take a little and I knead fixodent in it.

Momkiksbutt, I heard you can use the fixodent as a tylose replacement. I heard fixodent is the same thing, but it has that mint smell. I haven't bought the wilton one. I just use the CK gumpaste. I think I can find some around here in Hawaii, but I haven't gone to Excutive Chef yet to look.

Thanks to everyone for their compliments!

Thank you to everyone for your compliments.

Definitely a HUGE thank you to superstar! You really helped me with making the gumpaste. It's been raining and humid and the gumpaste is hard like rock! The tips on using both tylose and fixodent is the best! Much mahalo!
