I know that this has been posted, but try finding it in all these pages of tips!!!! Someone mentioned having simple instructions for Calla Lilies that I would be grateful to have. Any help making these would be so greatly appreciated.

Here's a link to the Wilton instructions: http://www.wilton.com/decorating/basic/callalilly.cfm
I've only made them once, but I was very happy with the way they turned out. I had read some instructions (very similar to the ones on CC) that used the heart cutter, but I just didn't get it so I used a knife and cut shapes similar to a leaf. I wanted the calla lilies to look somewhat natural so I was glad each one was a little different. Unfortunately I didn't have the foresight to write down everything I did so if you have any specific questions, I will try my best to remember - but no promises.
I just looked at the Wilton instructions (quickly) and I must say that the pictures are pretty good. I agree that the actual instructions are a bit confusing.
I did Calla Lilies from Wilton web page as says miriel, and this the link of my cake with the Calla Lilies:

Hi Lilybird! I also find Wilton's instructions a bit confusing. I use a medium sized heart cookie cutter. I also use a paper cone for drying them on. I get the cones from a water dispenser company (Culligan) but you can get them anywhere or make your own. I put the heart upside down in the palm of my hand with the point toward my fingers. Then I put the paper cone with the point in the dip of the two humps on the heart. Then just wrap the two humps around the tip until they overlap. Add a bit of water to make the overlap stay. Curl the edges back a bit and shape it how you want it to look and then leave it to dry. For the yellow stamens I just roll a bit of fondant into a sausage shape and stick it onto a wet toothpick. Then when the white part is dry you can instert them in the hole at the bottom and it helps them stand up in the cake. I haven't ever make whole callas with the stem and everything so I can't really help with that. If you look at my photos, the yellow flower basket has some callas in it that I made this way. HTH.
How funny-- I swear I answered this post earlier! I must have forgotton to hit submit!
I posted some actual photos of a calla in the garden If it will help to see a real one.... http://forum.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-283873-garden.html
what I find interesting is that you can find those same instructions on sugarcraft with no credit given to Wilton. hmmmm?
Thanks so much everyone. Your answers have been a big help. It's just great to know so many great people will come to your rescue!!!!
Thanks again
