I havent gone through that before, but I would bet that a bit of Royal Icing would be your best bet. I've used it to fix a broken # I made out of fondant and it held up like a champ!

you can try some water or some shortening if it is white try some powder sugar and water to make a glue and fix it with that

I would make a new banner and put it near a fan, that way it will harden quicker. I don't think that you can mend it without being noticable. Good
Luck!!

Is it laying flat on the cake or standing up? If it's standing up I don't know if a new one will dry in time. If it's laying down you should be fine either way.

good luck.

I agree with shelie I would probably try to make another one and stick it near the fan or airconditioner. But I would keep the other as a backup and try to fix it with royal icing.

Maybe make a new one out of gumpaste. In my experience, it dries faster and harder than fondant.

Good luck!

Do you have any gumpaste, tylose, gum arabic or vegetable gum? If so, use a very thin piece of gumpaste to make a new banner and it will be dry in time. Or if you have one of the other ingredients, you can add it to the fondant to help with the drying. Patching has never worked for me with fondant decorations. Good Luck!!
