I am making a wedding cake for the 23rd and I have the basketweave tip that comes with the grass tip. It is kind of small. What would be a good tip to use to do basketweave on a wedding cake?

Dont be deceived by the size of the tip.. that is the usual size used, unless you have one of the larger tips... I think Ateco puts one ion their large sie tips kit.

you could certainly do your basketweave with the basketweave tip. but you can do a basket weave with pretty much any tip, so long as you first ice your cake (thinly) in the same icing that you're doing the weave decoration with. i prefer to do a more realistic basketweave with a plain round tip (like, size 8 or larger, depending on the cake); this makes it actually look a basket made of wood or reed, rather than the stripey effect that's part of of basketweave tip.
lay out some wax paper and experiment with your tips; pipe a few woven rows with different tips and see which effect you like best.
