Thanks so much!

Do you need a recipe for fondant or gumpaste?
If you are looking for ideas, I would probably roll out yellow colred gumpaste or fondant, cut with a large flower-shaped cookie cutter. Then I would take several flower cut-outs and lay them on top of each other (each piece slightly rotated) to make the petals (securing with royal icing in between the layers). Then I would lightly press down in the middle to thin out and make a place for the seeds. If I was feeling over the top, I may go back and paint them with some orange highlights later.

Then, I would form tiny little sunflower seeds with my hands by rolling and shaping the gumpaste. Then, I would let those dry. Then (if I had not already painted them black), I would paint them lighlty with some black food paste (diluted in lemon extract), to give them a stripey look. Then, I would attach those with royal icing and let that dry. That is my idea, hope it helps!

Good luck!!
