Could you clarify a little bit? Why don't you want the cupcake to release from the paper? I'm a bit confused.
I think the OP means the paper is falling off the cupcake without it being pulled off? I remember someone posted that it happened to them when their husband put the cupcakes into a sealed container but other than that I dont know why. Here's a bump for you though
Are you talking about right out of the oven? or maybe if they have been frozen? I know someone posted recently that if you freeze cupcakes, after they are thawed the paper comes off. Sorry I can't help if they are fresh!!
I keep cupcakes in the freezer all the time, papers stay on fine when thawed.
Pearl, when you ask a question it's a good idea to give as many details about the situation you're dealing with. We're good, but not that good!
Yeah, we'll have to wait for more details on this question.....I can't ever keep mine in the freezer and then thaw them without the liners pulling away from the cupcakes.....and I know you shouldn't seal them in an airtight container because the condensation/moisture can cause the liners to pull away.
Pearl70....any add'l info would be helpful!
I find that if you remove the cupcakes from the tin immediately it comes out of the oven, the liners stay on, even after frozen and thawed.
sorry for the confusion, I am talking about when i get them from the oven the paper wants to release.
Are you greasing or spraying the cupcake papers before baking?? If so, you shouldn't be. That's the only way I can imagine them wanting to come off.
