Hi, I really need your help CC'ers. My creative juices are just not flowing with this business name deal. I have been using my nickname on my business cards till now "karmicflower Cakes" or "karmic Cakes" and i've been getting a bit more business lately, and because of this my husband commented that he really didn't like the name i was using and that i should change it.. I sorta like it, but he says i should use something that will attract more people, something more general, but i want something whimsical and cute as well.. not just the same old "cakes by jenny" deal. Please Help wth some suggestions.

Let me give you a little info on me, maybe that would help:

My name is Jenny Daley, I am a bit bohemian, very relaxed, fun person. I live in sunny Miami, FL. I collect Alice in Wonderland. I love music, crafts, cooking - I'm sorta old-fashioned, i love to cook, bake, sew, embroider, knit, etc. My cakes are more modern, don't really like things that are too old fashioned. I specialize in kids cakes, birthdays, special occasions but also want to have a name that will allow me to bring in all kinds of business - i want to get into wedding cakes too. My big thing though is flavor, to me the taste inside is of equal (if not more) importance than how it looks on the inside. MY nickname is flower (as in flower child) and karmicflower (because i studied buddhism in college).

it's funny that you're changing your name.........I just checked out your website from another post a few days back and saw a photo with your name watermarked on it.......and I said out loud......man that's a really cool name!!!! I can't believe your DH has talked you into changing it......I love the name like it is!!!! I vote NO CHANGE!! lol but if you're dead set on changing......I think wonderland cakes is a really cool name too! It not only ties in out of the ordinary cakes, alice in wonderland, but the whole florida thing too....makes me think of a disney themed cake!

I like Karmic cakes and Wonderland cakes. Wonderland sounds like they would be a lot of fun. I was also thinking Alice's Cakeland, but maybe not...

The good thing about Karmic is it's personal, so no one else will have it. Also, if you ever get to the point where you advertise, Wonderland will put you all the way at the end of the list. Something to think about
