Help please? I just got an order for a baby shower cake for November. This is a young woman who won one of my cake gift certificates in a raffle, for a 10" cake. She says that size is large enough, she wants fresh strawberry filling, iced with whipped cream ( I will use Pastry Pride) the expected baby is a boy and she wants a baseball theme. I seem to be out of ideas for anything new and cute. I could do fondant or gumpaste half balls and bats around the sides, but what for the top? I could do a sitting figurine of a baby in a baseball cap, or a mitt and ball. Neither really excite me. Any new and fresh ideas out there?
