Does anyone know where I can take a picture to have it put on edible paper? And once I do get the picture on edible paper, Is there a special way to place it on the cake? Your help is needed ASAP! Please help!

I know you can have this done at Wal-mart for $5.00 (that is a set price company wide to my knowledge) If there isn't one nearby try any local grocery store bakery or another bakery. From what I hear most prices are under $10.00

Please be aware that if they haven't done an EI that day then it may take a little time to scan and print the picture. Also if it is a copyrighted picture some places won't do it (against the law) however other places will (i guess they don't care)

The only suggestions I have for placing it on the cake. Between printing and placing on cake make sure you keep it in a sealed bag or something. They can dry out fast depending on how long the bakery has had them. If they get dry they can be hard to handle and crack a lot easier. Once ready to place on cake make sure the icing is still "wet" and hasn't crusted or the picture may not stick well. If the icing has crusted mist the top of the cake LIGHTLY then place the EI on and rub gently.

I hope this response is fast enough, and helps you out. Any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Quesa. I have had images made at my local Kroger bakery before. I think they charge 5.00. The way I do it is this...I frost my cake as usual...Then I put the image in the freezer for a couple of minutes...I then take it out and it peels right off...and then I place it on the cake. After...I gently smooth with my hand or a viva paper towel. Hope that helps! icon_razz.gif

Dairy queen will also do them for $5 and they told me to put it in the freezer for a bit then when ready peel it off and place on the cake. It worked out wonderful. GL

You have to place the image on to the cake as soon as frosted so it will adhear to the cake better. And just smooth out. Hope it works for you

I like to wait until the icing has crusted over slightly..that way I can move the image around a little, if necessary!
