Hello Briansbaker!
I've seen this pictured and have dreamed of making it myself! icon_lol.gif If you go on Sam's website (where this picture comes from-www.cakesbysam.com) and go to "molds", you'll see the mold it was made with. Looks like this is pink fondant covered with luster dust...? Your guess is as good as mine on the roses, but it looks like they've been in the luster dust as well!

Happy Cake Baking!

I think I'll have to try this one too! It appears that the bra cup part is fondant (I use 50/50 fondant-gumpaste) cut to shape and then left to dry on an upside down small ball pan? What do you guys think? Missey

Hi prettytoya! icon_biggrin.gif
This thing has been on my mind for days. I have been thinking about practical items I could try to use for molds.
You know those lace cut outs are pretty pricey in the Cakesbysam site. I was thinking about trying those lace dollies. They are pretty stiff and I am also thinking about maybe spraying them with some non-stick spray just so the fondant won't stick to the paper. Hmmm..What can I use to make the bra round like that? Has anyone seen plastic bra's anywhere? hehehe Without going to an x-rated store icon_redface.gif

Hey MrsMissey, you posted just before me, so I just went on and on on how to make the mold. icon_redface.gif
The mold idea sounds great!! Thanks! icon_biggrin.gif

MrsMissey, I have never used Gumpaste. It's in my cabinet, but have no idea what to do with it. I bought it because it was half off when Micheals was going out of business. I knew it was important to baking icon_confused.gif but have no clue how to use it.. Any Tips?

Gumpaste is similar to fondant, kinda! Gumpaste itself is generally used to make Gumpaste flowers. It is soft and much more pliable than fondant, which is also used to make flowers. Gumpaste dries faster though!. I usually mix 50/50 (half gumpaste and half fondant) when making flowers or embellishments or whatever. I find it easier to work with. Just rip open your pack of gumpaste and start playing!!! Hope this helps! Missey

Ok one more thing, I showed my niece who is 16 the cake I wanted to make. She said that looks like a girl cake, not for a guy, then added although if you make the lady cake (I make the adult lady cake sometimes you know the from the shoulders down and the thighs up) icon_redface.gif anyhow to make the lady cake only this time have her wearing those pink underclothes..What do you ladies think? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!! Thanks Again!

My opinion? I think the little outfit, with a Valentine message and some hearts added will speak for itself. Happy baking, Missey
