Hi all - I'm pressed for time how far in advance can I ice & fill my cake before ready to serve.

Depends on the icing you are using... crusting, non crusting....? Personally, I have found that with the icing I make, a day in advance is just fine, but two is pushing it (only because it is a crusting BC and, boy, does it crust!)
