Food rules in Minnesota are so strict that schools can't have bake sales unless the treats are from an approved kitchen and that can't be the one in your house. You can't even bring cupcakes you baked at home to school there so to get legal you'll have to have a seperate kitchen and I don't know if you can set one up in the house or not.

It depends also on the city you live in. In Minnesota you can have a seperate kitchen in your house (As long as nobody uses it), but some cities do not allow that according to your zoning... Call the Dept. of Agriculture for more information. Then, check with your city zoning rules.
