I have the same question as one of the other ladies. I need a good firm yet moist cake to scupt. However, the one that is posted is a yellow or white cake. Does anyone have a good dense chocolate recipe?

according to wilton if you ommit all but 1 Tblsp. of the oil called for in the recipe it makes it nice and dense......I've done it but not with chocolate.....I also add a pudding mix and it's definitely a nice firm cake for carving HTH
