Hi Guys-
I's a rainy cool day here in the North East- perfect for baking. We're celebrating my dad's b'day tomorrow and of course I am doing the cake- my dad is so generous and always doing things to help us out and has a great sense of humor. He was driving me crazy not giving me any ideas for his b'day- all he kept saying was " I need some underwear- get me some underwear" so...... being the fresh daughter that I am.... I made his cake into a pair of BVD's but instead of putting BVD, I used the initials HBD for happy birthday. Here's the cake
BTW... I also bought him a lacy brown thong as a gag.
This cake made me giggle (and my girls too) Thought I would share it- nothing fancy but good for a little laugh on a rainy afternoon.

I know he will get a kick out of it- he's always making me laugh- sometimes so much so that I've even been known to have an astma attack from laughing so hard. I'll let you guys know how it goes over.

I just boxed up the cake and started giggling all over again- funny how an almost 40 yar old can find underwear so funny- makes me feel like a kid again

Want to hear something even funnier?? I was making chocolate cake balls with the scraps and for a "brief" moment I thought to myself wouldn't it be funny to shape a cake ball into something else... know where I was going with this??? Thought it would be too gross but did make me giggle a little to myself. Just as I was thinking this and had a devilish little grin my 7 year old (with my same devilish little grin) said, "mommy, wouldn't it be funny to make a cake ball look like poopy"She laughed and laughed but then agreed noone would want to eat THAT!!
