Does anyone know about molded candy? I am wondering if I can freeze it after I make it, or should I just refridgerate?

I freeze chocolate all the time.. and up until about a month ago I had alot of the candy melts in my freezer they were still ok, and when you melt them they are like any other candy really its fine for either the freezer or fridge... its what you want to do and where you have the extra room.

Last summer my daughter and I made over 1500 pieces of candy for a friends wedding. We froze the candy as we made it since it was during July and August. A couple days before the wedding, we took the candy from the freezer and set up all the party favors. It worked out well and the candy tasted like it was just done. Some of the candy was in the freezer for a month or more.

Thanks Guys.

I am getting ready for my wedding on August 13. There will be about 100 people there and I am making the candy for favors. How many should I make? We are going to run some tulle down the center of the table and just sprinkle the candy on top.

last year i made molded chocolate for my neices wedding of about 80 people. I figured about 2 pieces (max) per person and that was MORE than enough, esp. with the wedding cake along with it. Her wedding was in sept and I started the chocolates, which were filled by the way, in late July and froze all of them. I took them out the night before and they turned out great. Hope that helps. icon_smile.gif
