Have a request for a rubix cube cake

Hi!

Need some help or ideas from the experts icon_lol.gif I have a cake order for an 80's themed party to do a rubix cube cake in 3d.

I've looked around on the internet briefly but haven't been able to find anything good.... icon_cry.gif

Has anyone done anything like this or who can suggest a site or picture?

Hi Peggy. I found a pic...this one is made using 4 square cakes. Looks like you might need 5 to get a perfect cube.

I think the decs are sugarpaste (fondant).

That looks like one cake with a different color on each of the four sides and white on top. Janice

Who would have thought so many people have done a rubiks cube cake?! icon_biggrin.gif I think it would look neat if the cube was almost finished.. so all the colors didn't line up perfectly.. That's how I leave rubiks cubes icon_lol.gif
