I have a wedding cake in the fridge...it has cream cheese icing (14" - 10" - 6")

The wedding is at 2:00....I need to deliver the cake at 11:00am...what time should I take it out of the fridge so it will be completely at room temp by 2:00??????

Sorry for a silly questions but I want it to stay firm as long as possible to deliver!!!

Ok, the wedding is at 2:00, but what time are they serving the cake? This is what you need to know in order to have it at room temp. Is the reception immediately following the wedding? And are they serving dinner before the cake?

Since the delivery time is 11 AM, I would not take it out until it's time to leave.

I'd wait until time to leave, the wedding will last the better part of an hour and they probably won't get to the cake until after the meal so the cake will have plenty of time to warm up.
