Near disaster, incredible slide part II

Okay, I think this counts because if I hadn't noticed it the whole cake would have been a goner.

While working on the Surviving 30 cake, I had the cake angled on the turntable while I wrote on it. When I turned it around to write on the back, I noticed the flowers seemed really close to the edge of the cake board. It finally dawned on me that I hadn't put enough icing under the cake to hold to the board. The cake was slowly slipping off the board! icon_surprised.gif

SO, I had to carefully turn the cake around and leave it slanted the other way until it slid back on the board a bit. Now I know how important it is to place a large glob of icing on the board to hold the cake!

Oh, NO. At least you noticed. My luck I would have had to catch one of the kids and have to leave the cake for a few minutes and end up with it all over the counter. Glad you were able to save it. thumbs_up.gif
