I have been to ONE Isis meeting in two years. Sundays are impossible for me (between church, tastings and family..) I wish they had meetings in the evenings during the week...Like maybe a monday!

Here's 2 ideas that I thought I should write because I'll probably be forgetting them before we meet

I love tasting new cakes flavor, different combinations and different frosting. We could bring mini cupcakes to taste different versions. (IF anyone is willing to give out their secrets lol)

I think everyone wanted to use this first meeting as a meet and greet. I think we should each start keeping a list of things we would like to learn at the future meetings. I am adding these two things to the list I have already started.

Wow!! Looks like we're gonna have a GREAT turn out for our first meeting!!!
As far as learning goes, I need to learn EVERYTHING!!!! I have never taken a class and am a sponge in need of soaking up some decorating intellegence!!! I'm sitting next to the really smart people (which will be hard to choose from as everyone here is extremely talented). So I guess that will make it easy to choose!! 
Can't wait to meet everyone in person. To see some of the work you guys have done, for me it's almost like meeting celebrities!!!

Given my greatly reduced cake decorating business, don't know if I pass muster or qualify for participation, but I would love to come on the 16th if I can work out my schedule. While cake decorating may not be as much of my life as it was just a few months ago, it's still a passion that I pursue as much as I can!

I just found this thread tonight after taking one of my online courses tests. This sounds like so much fun. I just moved to Greenville from Fort Lauderdale, FL last month so I don't know how far and how long it takes to get anywhere. That GPS system is the best investment I've ever made. Hey, at least I won't get lost!!! LOL!!! Anyway, if it's not way too far I would LOVE to join you. If it is then have fun and I'll be wishing I was there. I am new to cake decorating and I am in college in the pastry chef program. One day I'll be a professional too! I have tons to learn and it would be so great if I could meet some of my fellow CCer's. Let me know.

I'm navigationally challenged. My chauffeur is on strike and taxi fare would be exorbitant. I will have to pass until one pops up closer to my neighborhood.
