is it possible to substitute color flow mix for the meringue powder. i need to make another double batch and all i have is 1 1/2 table spoons of merengue powder left. sop can i combine them to get my 6 table spoons or am i just out of luck

if you use color flow mix in the icing, the icing will dry with more of a sheen than if you just use meringue powder... my books say that you can substitute royal (meringue powder) for color flow but it just won't be as shiny.
