okay, I am almost ready for my bridal show coming up. I ordered my business cards to hand out, and I thought I'd also pass out a flyer.
thats what I need help with, what should I put on my flyer? I am new to the wedding cake business, so my prices are lower than the other cake businesses there......should I say that in a flyer? I'd like to let them know, especially if they can't afford the top dollar cake decorator....but I don't want to be the budget cake lady either.

I thought I would say something about the unique cake sampling tasting that I will offer. which is basically what I've learned from you guys here. I will meet the bride and groom at there home, let them choose cake flavors, filling flavors that they want to try and let them come up with a custom taste.
should I offer a coupon or something?
or just list cake flavors and fillings?

I would just mention that you are "affordable" - it's a classy way to say you cost less, but you're not cheap! Good luck!!!

I'm working with a marketing company for my new cards and flyers and they recommend photos.....photos of the product, photos of people enjoying your product (i.e. pics of the couple cutting the cake, eating the cake, people lined up at the buffet table, etc.) The old adage about a picture says a thousand words. My new biz card will actually have info and pics on both sides.

So if you can get a few photos of your cakes on the flyers, when everyone goes home and dumps the bag of brochures, cards and flyers our on their kitchen table, YOURS will stand out with some great color pics of your fabulous cakes!
