ok i am using alices cookie icing. and my cookies are taking alot more icing than i thought so i need to make another batch. only problem is i need a double batch and all i have is 1 and 1/2 table spoons of meringue powder left. i have color flow mix as well but am not sure if i can use that with the merengue powder in the icing!!! anyone know if this will be ok!!!!!!

Look at the can of what you used. It should say X Tbs powder + X Tbs water = X eggwhites. Try substituting the eggwhites for the powder and water, but I dont know the specifics, just an idea. There should be royal icing recipes using the real eggwhites, read those for inspiration.
