I have been asked to make a shower cake for a shower at the firestation. It is supposed to not be super girly. I was thinking maybe a baby dalmation, but I'm open to any other suggestions too. I tried to search in the galleries, but nothing is coming up for me at all. Thanks for your help.

Hmmm...maybe a 3-d firetruck with a "Baby on Board" sign on it and a little one in the driver's seat.

Or a 9x13 to look like the inside of a firestation, but make it a wreck with fire hats and coats and hoses all over and a baby sliding down the pole with a hat on or something.

Is the baby shower being held at the firestation, or is is for a fireman's wife? Where I live a lot of people rent the firestation for parties such as showers and anniversay parties, etc.

I think if it was just being held at the firestation than any baby shower idea you like would be fine. If it for a fireman's wife than you could make the cake with a fireman theme.

How about doing a little nighttime baby theme? I always like the ones that have a baby in the half moon with clouds and stars.
OR you could even do precious moments! Make an FBCT for the top of the cake of a little girl and do some nice pastels.
If you want to do something that is fire station themed you could do a fire hydrant with a little teddy bear in pastel colors next to it!
I am just running the ideas out as they come! Hope the make sense or you get some inspiration off of them! LOL

Ya know what! I was just browsing through the CC articles and there is a tutorial on how to make a fireman's hat! Maybe you can use that and then put a little sleeping baby on top of it! The hat looks really nice! Just thought I'd let ya know!
