I Really Really Really want to use chocolate for my decorations on my cakes. i see lots of wonderful cakes with accents, letters, crayons, and such make out of "chocolate", What is this? Where do i get it? Where and How can i learn to use it iam sooooooooo green but very eager to learn Sugarshack has a crayola cake and it has crayons that look like real crayons. i don't have a good recipe for fondant, but i want kids to love to eat everything on my cake, especially chocolate! Can anyone offer some advise and help to me i would be forever grateful!!!!!
I use Merkens candy melts to make decorations (I find these the easiest and tastiest). It depends what type of decorations your trying to make. You can use candy molds, acetate, chocolate transfers, rolled cigarettes, etc... The following are some links I've used:

Let me know if you are looking for anything specific.
Oops - I double posted a link. I mean't to post the cigarette link:

Just an extra thought - Satin Ice Dark Chocolate Fondant tastes good and is very easy to work with - I have a picture (crappy it is) of a present cake I did using nothing but that fondant and white modeling chocolate (with different colors) for decorations. The modeling chocolate is just chips and karo - not rocket science at all.
