So, I'm sure alot of you saw Duff and the gang on Ace of Cakes tonight. That cake they made for the Preakness was incredible, wasn't it???

I really love this show. Duff is so damn cute (and I'm 49 years old). I love Geoff, too (great job on the Jeep cake!!!). I loved when Mary Alice said she's the gatekeeper and she wouldn't let the person on the phone talk to Duff because "I am the manager and I handle all the calls". Mary Alice, you have some real power in that place !! I love it. You go girl !!!

This show REALLY needs to be an hour long !!!

i know, i loved the black eyed susans, unfortunately it's into repeats. i don't know when a new episode will come out. i think that was the first episode they aired. of course, i watched it again even though it was a repeat.

What is really funny is that my DH knows I LOVE that show, and he watches it with me......anyways he was just saying the only thing he doesn't care for with Duff is how there is a lot of times what he makes is not edible....and then this episode they were really into making sure EVERYTHING on the cakes was edible!

I felt bad for Geoff when they tore into that jeep cake without really even acknowledging or caring how much work went into it.

I didn't realize these were repeats, but I vaguely remembered a thread awhile back about somebody ripping into a cake as if it was no big deal. I had not seen the original episodes so I was glad I got to see this one. I was a little disheartened by the people that ripped into the cake, too. I felt bad for Geoff. ALL THAT WORK and then POOF ...... those folks didn't seem very appreciative although it may have been edited, too. I hope they really thanked him for the great job he did on this one.

I even love the reruns, lol.
