My son's principal asked if I could bake bread for him for their church. They break bread during their mass. The woman who usually does it is in the hospital. I said sure. I figure any brownie points with the school principal would be good!! icon_biggrin.gif Anyway, I asked if he needed just a plain, white, yeast loaf and he said yes. It needs to be a 9" loaf. My question is, is it OK to use the yeast? I just want to make sure I'm giving him the right bread.
TIA!!

Yes, it is fine to use yeast. I personally don't know anyother way. icon_smile.gif Goodluck scoring the brownie points, I am sure it will be delicious.

If it's a Catholic church, yeast is not OK. Let me know and I'll send the correct bread recipe.

Thanks guys. No, it's not a Catholic church. But I talked to him and he said yeast was definitely OK. I actually got the bread out to him yesterday. Thanks for the help though.
