I have two stand mixers...one of them is a Kitchenaid and has 325 watts, the other is a Wolfgang Puck stand Mixer, 700 watts.....I use them both, but when making my buttercream and royal icings, the Wolfgang Puck is the only one I use... I love it!

I love my kitchenaid stand mixer!
I got the mid range kitchenaid with the bowl lift, and I love it! I would not recommend anything under 325 watts if you are going to make 3-5 cakes per month.

I recently got my first kitchen-aid. I had asked around on another board I visit, and EVERY reply was a HUGE endorsement for kitchen-aid.

My problem was deciding on a color! icon_biggrin.gif

My dh got me the "big" KA for Christmas.

It has the 6 qt bowl and 575 watts. Sounds like a jet when it's going on 10. lol!

I LOVE it!

I have the 525 watt one and I adore it so much. I got it as a gift but now that I have it, I couldn't imagine life with out it. I've made some of my favorite recipes using it and the results are so much better! Plus it looks way cool on my counter!

Another great investment I made was an oven thermometer. That was only $10.00 though icon_wink.gif

I have the Sunbeam Mixmaster Heritage Series...I don't like it. I'll admit it, I was being cheap, it was about 60 dollars cheaper than the others....AND it was RED-matches my kitchen. I should have paid more and bought something white.

I also have the KA 575 watts with the 6qt bowl. I love it, I can't imagine making cakes or icings without it.
