I found a doctored cake mix in an old recipe book that came out wonderful and is easy to decorate. Everyone thought that my cake was from scratch.

1 box cake mix (any flavor)
1 cup of vegetable oil
1 cup of milk
4 eggs
1 small box instant pudding (any flavor)

You just mix everthing except the pudding for 2 minutes, then mix in the pudding. I always use DH cake mix. My favorite is the french vanilla mix with french vanilla pudding. I've also done devil's food w/ chocolate pudding. I've found that this produces a very dense, moist cake. I hope this will come in handy for someone. icon_smile.gif
